ABOUT THIS PROJECT //

The purpose of this design was to invite the gorgeous surrounding landscapes into the property and let the homeowners be enveloped by deep nature while enjoying their yard.

 

This was achieved by prioritizing natural materials, native planting palette, and preserving open sightlines. The design's main feature is a dry creek that flows around the front of the house and leads to a rain garden. To add interest to the backdrop of the Westcoast forest, lush meadow planting adorns the slopes leading to the house.

The main patio functions as an outdoor room combining a cozy and intimate feel, providing a sense of being embraced by the great outdoors.
