The design for this unique property elegantly met the client's outdoor lifestyle needs. A terracing solution was chosen to break the steep site and exceptionally large backyard into functional human-scale spaces. The top tier of the property features a spacious driveway and a spectacular water element. The tier below includes a patio with a hot tub, pergola, play area, and raised planters for home farming. The third tier is an open lawn and informal play area. The fourth and last tier was designed as a utility area with naturalized planting.

Native plants and natural elements such as boulders, basalt stairs, and flagstone were used throughout the site to reflect the Westcoast style.
